As our Alterity family enters a new chapter, we are announcing the closure of Alterity Psychological Services.

Notice of Closure

Alterity Pyschological Services Oak Harbor Clinic has closed as of May 31st, 2025.

We have had the distinct privilege of providing mental health services to both military and civilian members of our community for nearly six years, and it has been an honor to be a part of your lives.

Our providers are each transitioning to new opportunities:

Dr. Burdge will be offering virtual Telehalth sessions with new and existing patients living in Washington or Utah. Please leave us a message at 360-682-5299  for more information.

Amy Epp, FNP-C will be moving to Lighthouse Behavioral in July. They are located at 390 NE Midway Blvd, Suite B103 Oak Harbor. You may call them at 360-682-6167 to set up an appointment with her.

Jennifer Laska, LMHC is in the process of establishing her new practice at Legacy Mental Health Center in Edina, MN. While she plans to work with Washington State patients via telemedicine, she is currently completing credentialing and contracting with insurance providers in Minnesota, which may affect when she is able to resume seeing patients. As we step into this new chapter, we carry Whidbey Island and each of you with us, cherishing the memories and experiences we have shared. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. You will forever remain in our thoughts and hearts.

Medical Records

If you are following Amy to her new practice OR transitioning to a new provider, you can:

  • Request a Transfer: Contact us to arrange for the transfer of your medical records to your new provider via fax.
  • Request a Personal Copy: As of June 1st, 2025, records requests can still be made using the contact form below. For personal copies, a USB drive will be mailed to you.
